Atalanta Healing

1. Provider and Scope

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all services provided by Atalanta Healing, including guidance, support, and consultations offered in any format.

By booking or participating in a session, the client agrees to these Terms & Conditions.

These Terms apply to all clients, regardless of their location or the location from which the services are accessed.

2. Services

Atalanta Healing offers supportive, reflective, and guidance-based services. These may include:

 

  1. Emotional support

  2. Spiritual guidance

  3. End-of-life support for family members of a dying loved one

  4. Family caregiver support

  5. Grief support for various forms of loss

  6. Conscious, compassionate conversation

  7. Workshops or group sessions

Services may be delivered in various forms, including in-person sessions, live video calls, group sessions, workshops, or other mutually agreed formats. The specific form and content of the service will be determined by mutual agreement between Atalanta Healing and the client.

3. Nature of the Services

  1. Services are intended to support personal insight, emotional processing, and inner awareness.

  2. They are offered in a respectful, non-judgmental manner and are adapted to the individual needs of the client at the time of the session.

  3. Services are non-medical and guidance based. They do not replace medical, nursing, psychological, psychiatric, or legal care.

  4. No diagnosis, treatment plan, prescription, or medical advice is provided.

  5. Clients remain responsible for seeking appropriate professional or medical care when needed.

  6. No specific outcomes or results are guaranteed.

 

4. Client Responsibility

  1. Participation in sessions is voluntary and at the client’s own responsibility.

  2. Clients are fully responsible for their choices, actions, and emotional or physical well-being.

  3. Atalanta Healing does not guarantee results or outcomes.

  4. Clients agree to communicate honestly and participate with respect for the process.

5. Appointments and Technical Requirements

  1. Sessions are scheduled by mutual agreement.

  2. Clients are responsible for ensuring:

    • a stable internet connection (for online sessions)

    • a suitable device

    • a private and safe environment

  3. Technical issues on the client’s side do not automatically entitle the client to a refund.

 

6. Cancellation and Rescheduling

  1. Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled up to 24 hours before the scheduled session without charge.

  2. Cancellations within 24 hours, or failure to attend the session, may be charged in full.

  3. If Atalanta Healing is unable to provide the session due to unforeseen circumstances, the session will be rescheduled at no additional cost.

  4. Repeated cancellations may affect future bookings.

 

7. Payment

  1. Payment must be made in advance, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  2. Payments are non-refundable once the session has taken place.

  3. Atalanta Healing reserves the right to suspend or cancel services if payment has not been received.

8. Confidentiality

  1. All information shared during sessions is treated as strictly confidential.

  2. Sessions are not recorded unless explicitly agreed upon by both parties in advance.

  3. Confidentiality may only be breached if required by law or in situations involving serious safety concerns.

 

9. Liability

  1. Participation in the services is entirely at the client’s own responsibility and risk.

  2. Atalanta Healing is not liable for:

    • emotional responses

    • personal decisions

    • consequences resulting from the guidance provided

  3. Liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific session.

10. Professional Boundaries

  1. Atalanta Healing reserves the right to:

    • refuse a session

    • pause or terminate services

      if the service is deemed inappropriate, unsafe, or outside the scope of support offered

  2. Such decisions will be communicated respectfully.

11. Intellectual Property

All materials, texts, exercises, or other content shared during sessions remain the intellectual property of Atalanta Healing. 

Clients may not copy, distribute, or reproduce these materials without written permission.

​

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Curaçao.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Curaçao.

13. Privacy and Data Protection

  1. Atalanta Healing respects client's privacy and handles personal data with care and confidentiality.

  2. Personal data collected may include:

    • name and contact details

    • session-related information

    • billing information

  3. Personal data is used solely for:

    • providing services

    • communication and scheduling

    • administrative and legal obligations

  4. Personal data is not shared with third parties unless:

    • required by law

    • necessary for service delivery (e.g., payment processing)

    • explicitly consented to by the client

  5. Reasonable technical and organizational measures are taken to protect personal data.

  6. Clients have the right to request access, correction, or deletion of their personal data in accordance with applicable privacy regulations.

  7. Personal data is retained only as long as necessary for service delivery and legal compliance.
